ANZAC Commemorations

On the Eve of ANZAC Day, Jennifer Zhang performed at St David’s Church. She enchanted the audience of approx 400 with her superb interpretation of ‘Watching the Wheat’ by John Thomas. She was congratulated by many people  after the event – they couldn’t believe that she is only 12!  The event was a great success: a coming together of people through the arts to remember the many affected by WW1.  With the extra excitement of a live cross to Seven Sharp to share it with the nation, everyone was engaged and appreciative of the gigantic efforts of all the creatives, technical experts and volunteers who made the event happen.

On ANZAC Day itself, ACG Parnell College String Theory and Choir gave wonderful performances at the Auckland Museum.  It was a moving commemoration, and the students felt that it was worthwhile and enjoyed the experience. We have received great feedback about the sound of the performance in this special space.
