ACE Brass members (French horn, trumpet and trombone) from the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra came to perform for our Primary students a few weeks ago. Students enjoyed the experience of listening to music, meeting the musicians and learning more about these instruments. ACE Brass members made us think about why we need music around us and made their performance very interactive. Students and staff thoroughly enjoyed the performance which was very entertaining and full of laughs. ACE Brass members definitely fulfilled their goal of ‘We play music that evokes, suggests and can imply limitless emotional reactions in children’. Thank you, ACE Brass members, for coming to perform for the Primary students. It was an excellent and enriching experience for all of us.
