Last week, ACG Parnell College and Epsom Music School-Parnell Academy hosted a masterclass by world-renowned violinist Iona Cristina Goicea.  Aspiring young violinists from around Auckland each performed a piece and were given inspiring musical suggestions and excellent technical advice in the following workshop.  Iona Cristina Goicea is currently on her National ‘Winners Tour’ after taking out first place in the prestigious Michael Hill Violin Competition.
