Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The annual ACG Parnell College production took place during the last week of term one.  This was a very exciting year for the production as we moved from the gymnasium to the new Senior Campus theatre.  This year we chose to perform Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s very colourful and high energy show full of lively songs.

Our show featured a cast of 41 very talented performers from Years 7-13.  Julian Schoonees played the title role brilliantly and Joseph’s brothers really stole the show.  Our lovely narrators told the story through song and introduced the audience to the all the characters Joseph met along his journey.

Students were involved in all aspects of the production from backstage to band to technical crew. A fabulous team of parent helpers, led by Clare Hynes, created the stunning costumes including Joseph’s spectacular coat.  All four shows played to full audiences and a fantastic time was had by all.
