Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This week is a poignant week – we say good bye to our senior students.
For the Year 13 students this has been the last week of their formal schooling. It is a sad moment, of course, in the sense of leaving their school, friends and teachers, yet also exciting in the sense of “taking on the world”. Added is also an element of worry: there is still an important set of exams between now and when they can truly celebrate the end of their schooling.
Tutorials start next week and the Cambridge exams the week after. I remind parents that teachers are available for support throughout the exam season. We encourage students to email their teacher and book a time if they wish to come in for questions or advice.
We wish our students all the very best for the exam challenge that awaits them, and for those leaving us, a happy, meaningful and rewarding life beyond the school gate. I believe that being wholehearted, academically focused, and enjoying success in all they do will stand each student in good stead for a fulfilling life.
Happy, (and for studying households, productive), holidays!
