Four of our students have been awarded High Distinction in the University of Auckland’s national Economics competition. High Distinction comes from being placed in the top 5% of the country: Alex Pentchev, Lachlan Broadhurst (who also received High Distinction last year), and Judy Zhu in the first division (Year 13) and Kemp McCulloch in the second division (Year 11/12). Our congratulations to all these students. These students and their parents have been invited to attend the awards ceremony at the University on 16 October 2018. Our college can be proud of its track record in this competition – indeed, Oliver Brown who now teaches Science still holds the record for being top in New Zealand way back in 2011!
