The Year 10 classes have been visiting the Auckland War Memorial Museum as part of their Humanities course. This term they have so far studied the origins of the First World War and have also learnt about the conditions that men suffered during the Gallipoli campaign and at the Western Front. Students enjoyed their visit and were very surprised to see the number of men lost from Auckland during the war. The visit offered them the valuable opportunity to learn outside of the classroom and to engage with our school values of Respect and Global View.
