The Year 5 students were bursting with excitement and a thrilled vibe filled the classrooms last week as they counted down the days to camp. Finally on Wednesday, 13 February, the day arrived! Our novice ‘campers’ and a few enthusiastic parents embarked on the inquisitive journey to Kokako Lodge and the majestic Huana falls. Activities ranged from kayaking, wall climbing, pole balancing, abseiling, orienteering, raft building and an ‘amazing pancake race’.
Some of the other
highlights included a glow-worm night walk, an ACG talent show and an endless supply of active FUN! A huge thank you to our volunteer parents who assisted and went the extra mile. It was a great learning experience for everyone.
