Year Five Students – Armistice Day

On Friday 9 November, the Year 5 class went to see the crosses that were set up by the Auckland museum. The crosses are there in memory of those who died in World War 1. 18,277 New Zealand soldiers died, and 9 families lost 4 of their sons in this tragic event.  It was very moving to see the crosses and helped us understand the impact war had on everyone.
LEST WE FORGET.
